These are Phlox flowers that I picked, pressed and processed myself. After processing the flowers I placed them on 11x14 paper that I made to look vintage and wrote out the scientific information for the Phlox flower. The piece was treated to help preserve it for longevity and then placed in a wood frame that I hand painted hyacinth white with a pinkish inner trim and used a wax to give it a distressed look.

This piece is very unique and would look nice in a bedroom, living room or even the kitchen.
